First post since February!

Fellow SPED teacher (Ally) has inspired me to write my first post since February. So here's to...


10 Things about Jaimie

10. I'm a Yankee living in a Southern-ish state.

9. I'm allergic to pretty much everything outside. Sigh. However, I'm NOT allergic to household dust. No need to dust. SWEET!

8. I may very well be addicted to S.plenda. I'm a little worried that in 10 years I might grow an extra arm from the chemicals.

7. I am horrrrible at crafts. Last year I had the kids grow flowers for Mother's Day. I had them paint paper to wrap around the pot (which was a plastic, tacky "cup o' flowers" pot, you can imagine how well those turned out. I think one of them grew some sprouts (looked like weeds). The only crafty thing I sort of do is crocheting. I pull out an old project or start a scarf/blanket once a year and give up after a couple of days. Apparently I did embroidery and rag-hooking when I was little...

6. I can't draw anything except some sweet doodles. I'm a mean doodler.

5. My mother would like me to marry a nice Jewish boy. If anyone is interested, I make a freakin' awesome noodle kugel. I should have taken a picture of the one I made for Rosh Hashanah. I probably won't make another one until next year, they're approximately 8 million calories a serving.

4. If I don't work really hard, I am terribly disorganized and my room becomes a black hole if I'm not careful.

3. One of my biggest interests is international adoption and how orphans with special needs in other countries are treated.

2. I am ridiculously addicted to blogs.

1. I'm happier than I've been in a long time. I'm not always super duper fantastico (who is?), but things are certainly looking up.

EDIT: I got rid of the buttons of kids from Reece's Rainbow that are HOME...I was so happy to get rid of soooooo many buttons! There are plenty of new one's, but still!
